Well thank you – from the bottom of my heart, for both the compliment and because I will be writing at least two books hopefully in the near future, at least to start.
The first will be just to compile all my written stuff to date of publication in a paperback and eBook format, mostly from The Romantic Dominant Blog but other places as well (former blogs, side blogs, personal writings, going back to over a year ago. Some things that were never even posted). It primarily will be things similar to the #writings and #fantasy with more artsy pictures. Can’t really put a girl squirting on the Kindle library.
It’s more just to give people a different look and feel for a few bucks. A lot of people, including myself would rather read on a Kindle than an iPhone, so this gives them that if they want it. Hopefully some will. It’s actually more work than you’d think – I’m about 100 pages deep and I’m not even close to wrapping it up. It’s probably looking like about 1K pages but I am just ballparking that.
The second is an actual fiction book I’m going to start on in September hopefully. Patreon can wait I have decided; that just seems like too much of a daily obligation. I have no interest in half the features so I’ll put it off for awhile. The best thing that it offers is a platform for audio and short stories with longer, more complete short stories.
The book itself will be a either a novella or a novel and it will be – like everything I will ever do – somewhat personal. It’s a lot easier to me to write the end to a story you want than make up some lame shit about a millionaire and a virgin just because other people were successful with that model. Who the fuck wants to read about a world they can’t relate to when it comes to personal relationships? Not me. No, I’d rather see what the majority of women here can relate to; D/s and real personal relationships.
Consider it a story of the truest heart-wrenching love, but with intense D/s passion too. This one – I am very excited about writing. Very. It’s why I am going to fly through the #writings book because I won’t start it until that is done.
The one thing that is good about dropping my blog last March and starting over is that I now don’t have to rush on some of this. Right now I don’t have the follower count to have enough people who I know will go out and buy it so I’ll get it done as time permits. I’m adding around 100 followers a day so when I hit certain benchmarks the pressure will grow to get something out there. Either way I’ll never half-ass it because it is personal to me and being good is more important to me than having content so it will get written and published when it’s good and ready.
