LOL. Well finally a good question.
The proper way to make a pie crust is:
- 1-cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/3 cup plus 1 Tbsp Crisco Butter Flavor Shortening
- 2-3 Tbsp of Ice Cold Water
Preheat oven to 475. Mix flour and salt in large bowl. Kneed in shortening with a fork bit by bit until it resembles coarse cornmeal. Add in small amounts of water until dough gathers into a ball. Roll it out and flatten it on floured surface. Roll into pie tin. Prick bottom with a fork in a few spots.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely before adding pie filling.
