Hey! Secret Unsullied Dali is back for another round of the name game ?
God, I am so dumb. Actually, thank you very much for that very thought-provoking comment.
I haven’t read any erotica and obviously Tumblr is significantly different than reading a book with crafted character development, plot, backstory, and a full arc of a storyline, but The male versus female author does still somewhat apply.
I have heard some similar feedback that you expressed from other people; quite often actually. That you can easily feel like you are in the scene, which is great, because that is part of my goal. The other part, the main part, it’s just my internal need to express my passion within.
But my writing style is definitely like a signature. The way I look at it, I almost exclusively utilize the first and second person narratives (I and you). I say “I want to eat your pussy”, except I don’t say it so boring as that. I can’t, because it genuinely is personal when I write it and it is exactly what I feel on the inside.
I would say that it is more common in blogs and books write in the third person narrative. “He did this to her”. Or they might do the first and the third person narrative, which is pretty common in blogs but less so in books. For example, “I walked in the room and said take off your pants. She said yes Daddy”.
I don’t know, I’m not saying one way is better than than another; it’s just different. My goal is to craft an experience for everybody who comes to this page that feels personal. It’s also to express myself about the passion within me and that’s how it comes out.
There are a lot of really talented writers on Tumblr. Everybody crafts their art in their own creative and personal way and some of them are just downright better writers than I, in my opinion. I have my favorites and they tend to be female but that’s just because I enjoy reading the mind and inner monologue of a submissive woman. There are a ton of guys that kick ass too.
Thank you for the exchange, young Dali.
