That obvious? I really can’t stand cardio but just because it’s so damn boring to spend 40 minutes on a treadmill; I think my approach has always sucked, not so much cardio itself. Plus shitty knees runs in my family too, so I think something high impact like running every day would eventually take its toll on me and I’d be under the knife and regretting it so it’s probably good that I haven’t burned my knees out.
I’m actually starting a new gym soon and looking forward to new options with classes like spin or even something else.
What do I enjoy? Lifting, especially on days where it’s arms, chest, shoulders and back. For years I never worked out and over the past year I was doing about 5 days a week with some low points on business travel and things but then I got really sick this summer and had to stop altogether. Still trying to get back in the swing of things.
Next move is a major diet change and detox soon and starting at the new gym and starting in on the cardio and it is my hope that I become addicted to the cardio like a lot of people. One of my top goals this year – just being healthier all around.
