I always feel like such a moron when people ask me for book recommendations because I haven’t read much in a while, and I have read almost nothing when it comes to romance and erotica. Then again, I am writing a book so, I guess I am not that much of a moron. I really do need to bone up on my written smut, pun intended.
I will defer to all the wet-knuckled ladies out there who know erotica really well. I have a handful of audio and Kindle books that I am reading, read within the past few months, or have been recommended. These include: Priest: A Love Story by Sierra Simone (recommended); the Dirty Rowdy Thing series by Christina Lauren; I read Bridges of Madison County in Sept and it is actually a beautiful love story; and as for D/s books, you’ll hear me reference The Loving Dominant, but that is not a novel. It is still a really thought-provoking book on D/s play and relationships and is an easy read, or the first half was before went and I set it down last week.
Most of what I read or have read in the past is nonfiction and history. I doubt you want my recommendations on Paul Krugman’s viewpoint on the Long-Gilded Age and how Keynesian economics in the post-WWII world are responsible for the largest economic expansion in American History, the correlation between income inequality and partisan division, blah blah blah. That’s the shit I like to read if I am being honest though.
