No, I will publish under a nom de plume, although I have no idea what that will be. Maybe I’ll solicit suggestions because everything I have come up with is horrible. Dr. McDickNuts doesn’t sound like the name of an author on the New York Times Bestseller list and I am all out of ideas.
Regarding the projects I have in the works, yes, both will contain a reference to the blog itself, although the novel may not cite it by name.
The current projects are:
- A Novel – This is a story of true love, with some D/s as a component, but not a centerpiece. It is a story inspired by what I find myself living in at this very moment. I am writing it for several reasons, but to sell books is not one of them. If 5 people read it one day, I will be happy. It will include my blog as a component because the blog is a component of the story, but it is just one component of a much bigger story. It’s a beautiful and very intense story to tell; I will do my best to do it justice when I write it. The plan is that will be published in several formats (Kindle, paperback on demand, eBook, etc). It is in the early stages but that is more because I am writing project #2 first, mainly because it will help me go through the process of publication.
- The Complete Writings – This is the blog itself, in several formats (Kindle, ebook, possibly audio recordings), although there is a lot of the old blog that will be there that is not in the current blog. Also, the entire blog from top to bottom will get an overhaul in this, and I’ll rewrite posts as I need to, copy edit everything, change graphics obviously, and include a lot of new things and old things that people can’t get here. Note: TRD was live June 2017-March 2018, but then I deleted it and walked away from writing for awhile. Many posts made their way back in the current TRD, but many didn’t, zero Asks from before did, and things like the “Task Games”. One rule I have is this though: nothing will be tied back to anyone but me, so for example, all Asks of value will be “nameless”, no reblogs of other people’s works, etc. I don’t think I’d drop the blog again but who knows; hopefully people will see that this is a possibility and grab a permanent copy. If not, that is fine – I am not doing it to make money; I am doing it to work through the publication process so that no mistakes are made in Project #1, which is what I really care about most.
After that, who fucking knows. Maybe I’ll write 51 Shades of Buttsex, by Dr. McDickNuts.
